Rules of the Duelo VJ

1. Organizer
The Duelo VJ is a free football prediction game organised by Mais2, owner of VJStats. Taking part is always free and needs no purchase.
2. Players in Portugal
Players in Portugal can take part and enter the ranking. Prizes are not awarded to players in Portugal for now, as contests with prizes may need a prior authorisation there.
3. Duration and editions
The Duelo VJ runs in monthly editions with no end date set. Each edition goes from the first to the last day of a calendar month, and the end of the game will be announced on this page at least 30 days in advance.
4. Who can take part
Adults aged 18 or older with an account on VJStats and a confirmed email. Everyone can play and enter the ranking; prizes are only awarded to players in Peru, Chile, Colombia.
5. How a round works
Each round has five questions about real matches plus a tiebreak question. A question closes at the kickoff of its match and can be changed until then. The answers of your rivals stay hidden until each question closes.
6. Points
Each correct answer scores one point. Only the regulation time counts, without extra time or penalties. If a match is postponed, suspended or cancelled, its question is voided and nobody scores on it.
7. Duels
You can challenge a friend with an invitation link. The player with more points wins the duel; a tie is broken by the closest guess on the tiebreak question, and if it is still level it is a technical draw. Every round you answer is also a duel against the VJ.
8. Monthly ranking
The points of the rounds whose last match falls in a calendar month make the ranking of that month, which starts from zero every month. Ties are broken by duels won, then by the smallest sum of tiebreak distances, then by who played first.
9. Prize
Each monthly edition has 1 prize: one free month of the AI agent of VJStats for the best eligible player of the overall ranking, with a reference value of US$ 5. The prize has no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged. If the winner already pays for the agent, the month is added to their access.
The winner is decided only by points, according to the published criteria: chance never decides the winner, and there are no draws.
To be eligible you must be 18 or older, have a confirmed email, live in Peru, Chile, Colombia, and the country of your connection when you registered must match the country you declared.
10. How to claim the prize
The winner is told by email and has 30 days to claim the prize on the Duelo VJ page. After that the prize passes to the next eligible player.
Before the prize is delivered we may ask for a document that confirms the age and the country of residence. The prize is delivered as soon as it is claimed, and never later than 30 days after the claim.
11. Publication of the winners
The winner of each edition is published on the Duelo VJ pages with the first name and the initial of the last name, the points and the month, within the first week of the next month.
12. Results data
Questions are settled with the official match data provided by FootyStats. If a figure is clearly wrong, the organiser corrects it and recalculates the points of everyone.
13. Fair play
One account per person. We may exclude accounts that use several identities, automate answers or give false data, and void their results.
14. Data and emails
We use your data to run the game as described in the privacy policy. You can switch the game emails off in your profile or with the unsubscribe link of any email. Offers from authorised operators are only sent to players who ticked the separate consent box.
Personal data is processed according to the data protection law of each country, including Law 29733 in Peru, Law 19628 in Chile and Law 1581 of 2012 in Colombia. You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at hello@vjstats.com.
In Portugal and the European Union the processing follows the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and Law 58/2019, and you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, cnpd.pt).
15. Independent of any operator
The game never shows operators, their prices or their links, and taking part never requires any payment or purchase. No text of the game promises winnings, profit or certainty.

17. Changes
We may adjust these rules. The date at the top shows the latest version.
